I am a tad bit late on this particular post seeing how this day trip I planned was during the kids spring break.  We went to this little place called Discovery Park of America and it is only 3 hours from Nashville.  I am ashamed of myself for not discovering this place a long time ago.  I have been looking for one day family outings and this place is perfect for that.
